Short story
- Funded in 1978 as Automation Research Center (CCAB), was transformed in 1991 into a research, designing and manufacture trading corporation: S.C. SIAT S.A with the following fields: 7219 - Research and development on natural sciences and engineering (main activity), 8560 - support services for education, 6201 – Customized software development activities , 6202 - Consultancy activities, in Information Technology, 6311 - Data processing, web sites management and related activities, 7022 – Consultancy activities on business and management , 7112 - Engineering activities and related technical advice in this respect, 8559 - Other forms of education, and others, according to the confirmation of company details that reveals the expertise to fulfill the project activities.
SIAT became a modern, dynamic, privately owned trading company and developed three main areas of competitive activities:
- research and development for industry, agriculture, medicine, environment and environmental protection
- frames, devices and furniture manufacturing for industrial, urban, advertising and media advertising
- related services to research and manufacturing services, superior real estate services
Company capacities and creative resources defines a innovative position for beneficiary; this holdig the role of client-advisor and collaborator for products development with an advanced level of customization .
In 2001-2008, in consortium with S.C. IPA SA, S.C. SIAT S.A. has been Program Coordination Unit (PCU) - AMTRANS, managing 213 research and development projects of Research –Development-Innovation National Program I (PNCDI I ) with the budget of 54,260,316 RON, and 57 projects of Research for Excellence National Program (CEEX) , totaling 77,981,691 RON. Project team leader has a Ph.D. in Zootechny, having together specialists as members of PCU AMTRANS management: Executive Director, two Subprogram Directors and one marketing responsible. All project team members were project managers and were actually involved in more than 50 R&D projects in the fields of Agriculture, Environment and Medicine.
